Genuine, Quality Care: Our Recent Audit Results
NDIS Audit: Achieving Quality and Compliance
To ensure we continue to deliver the quality support our clients expect, Coastlink is regularly assessed for its suitability to provide supports and services in line with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Practice Standards.
In February 2025, Coastlink was assessed through an external audit by HDAA: an independent, third-party body and one of Australia’s leading human services auditing agencies.
We’re pleased to say we passed this thorough audit with flying colours.
The findings confirm that we meet the stringent NDIS Practice Standards and reaffirms the high level of service we provide for our clients.
The auditors commended Coastlink for:
- Our strong commitment to the engagement of participants in the planning and evaluation of services.
- Our comprehensive understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements with a strong organisational governance structure.
- Our Board, Executive Team and Senior Management Team, which holds an extensive range of professional backgrounds and experience.
- The feedback from participants that concerns are dealt with promptly and appropriately.

Aged Care Quality Audit: Care, Dignity and Respect

In May 2024, Coastlink undertook an Aged Care Quality Audit to assess the quality of the care and services we provide against the Aged Care Quality Standards.
We are proud to confirm we ‘Met’ all Quality Standards required as part of this Audit.
The findings will assure the community that the care and services Coastlink delivers are safe, of high quality, and meet the needs and preferences of the people under our care.
As part of the Audit, a total of 63 interviews were held to gain feedback from clients and their representatives, as well as our management team, staff and external contractors.
When discussing both Home Care Packages and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, the clients and representatives interviewed indicated that Coastlink’s staff members treat them with dignity and respect when delivering care, providing social support, and communicating with them.
Feedback from the auditors also highlighted that:
- Clients are treated with dignity and respect and supported to make decisions about the way their care and services are delivered.
- Clients receive timely and accurate information, and their confidentiality is respected.
- Assessment and planning of care and services is completed in partnership with clients to ensure they receive the care they need.
- Training of staff is in place and appropriate competencies are completed.
- There is effective, organisational-wide governance from a Board of Directors to ensure clients receive safe and effective care.
