We are delighted to welcome Dr. Carla Sunner to our Board of Directors.
Dr. Sunner, a Lecturer of Nursing at the University of Newcastle (UON), brings a wealth of expertise and experience to our team.
With a Master of Advanced Practice Nursing (Older Person Specialty) and a Diploma in Applied Science Nursing from UON, Dr. Sunner has over 30 years of clinical experience in diverse settings, including rural and remote areas across Australia.
Her impressive career includes numerous awards and six published academic papers.
Dr. Sunner’s extensive background includes her role as a nurse for the Aged Care Service in Emergency Teams (ASET) at John Hunter Hospital. Her skills in risk mitigation, clinical governance, and strategic planning will be invaluable to Coastlink.
